Compaq Gift Card - Terms and Conditions
Key Terms and Conditions
- Customers can claim Gift Cards on Compaq 'Qualifying Products' (excludes Compaq 615 VC284EA) purchased between 15th December 2009 - 31st July 2010 (or while stocks last).
- ROI Customers may claim Gift Cards on a maximum of 15 applications per business - with the exception of Educational Establishments who may claim up to 25 laptops.
- To take advantage of the promotion visit www.compaqcashback.com/ie and complete
the online claim form. The participant must print out and send this with a copy of their proof of purchase in the form of the
seller's invoice or receipt. Proof of order or despatch will not be accepted. The seller's invoice must clearly show the
qualifying products purchased, the purchase price and the date of purchase. COMPAQ must receive the claim form within 30 days of
the date of purchase.
- The promoter will endeavour to dispatch the card within 56 days but allow a maximum of 45 days for receipt of gift card from
acknowledgment of your successful claim.

address is for submission of claims only; COMPAQ regrets that it is unable to accept or send any other correspondence concerning
the promotion other than as set out in these terms and conditions.
Further Terms and Conditions
- The promotion is open to residents of the ROI only. This offer is not open to agents, wholesalers, resellers, retail staff,
retailers or participating stockists of Compaq.
- The promotion is only valid for end user customers. Claims must be submitted by the end user customer only. Resellers may
not submit claims on behalf of their customers. Any claims where a reseller or trader is suspected of claiming will be rejected.
- The promotion is valid in respect of qualifying products purchased either directly from COMPAQ or an authorised reseller or
authorised retailer of COMPAQ. The Compaq 615 (VC284EA) is excluded from this promotion. Purchases direct from COMPAQ
distribution partners are ineligible.
- Once the claim has been received, the participant will receive confirmation of receipt of the claim form by email from
help@compaqcashback.com stating whether or not the claim for Gift Card has been successful. It is the claimant's
responsibility to contact the promotion's team using the email address above within seven days of the submission of their claim
if an email acknowledgement has not been received.
- Participants providing an incomplete claim form will be notified via email and offered the opportunity to provide the required
items within seven days. If the participant still fails to comply with the terms and conditions, the claim for the Gift Card will be
refused.
- Payment will be made via a One4all Card to the individual or company name stated as the purchaser on the proof of purchase invoice
supplied. Payment cannot be made out to individuals except where the product has been purchased for personal use and the claimant's
name and address appear as the purchaser on the proof of purchase invoice.
- Rebate is inclusive of all taxes. Where this rebate payment constitutes a taxable benefit, all tax liability lies with the
recipient.
- Return of the qualifying COMPAQ product to the seller following submission of the claim for the Gift Card will disentitle
the participant to the Gift Card or reward.
- The gift card will not be granted to the participant who: (a) has not purchased a qualifying COMPAQ product within
the promotional period; and/or (b) has not correctly completed the claim form; and/or (c) has not supplied proof of purchase;
and/or (d) has not submitted their claim form within 14 days from the date of purchase; and/or (e) failed in any way to comply
with these terms and conditions.
- All instructions form part of these terms and conditions. The chosen reward will only be made upon satisfaction by the
participant of these terms and conditions. By completing the claim process participants confirm their acceptance of these terms
and conditions.
- The promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible claims. No responsibility will be accepted for
submissions which have been lost, are late, damaged, misdirected, delayed in the post or insufficiently pre-stamped. If the
customer decides to send the claim via post, COMPAQ strongly recommends the use of an insured postal delivery delivery.
- COMPAQ is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of
any kind to the extent that this prevents the participant from or otherwise obstructs him/her in participating in the promotion.
- COMPAQ reserves the right to audit all requests to ensure that the terms and conditions of the promotion have been met and to
request additional information regarding any and all claims and supporting documents.
- All documentation submitted for this promotion becomes property of COMPAQ and will not be returned. Submission of false,
incorrect, misleading or fraudulent documentation may result in disqualification from this promotion and future COMPAQ promotions
and may result in the submitter being subject to prosecution.
- COMPAQ may declare this promotion to be void where it is taxed, regulated, prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
- The decisions of COMPAQ in respect of any and all aspects of the promotion will be final and binding.
- COMPAQ reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this offer without notice.
